The application’s 2.0 version contains significant functionality improvements and has also been optimized in order to increase its usability.

Among other minor tweaks, one of the most important change is that a new button can be found in the search results menu – “More excerpts”. Its job is that once you press it, 25 more entries will be added to the actual search results. The same option is available also in the “Categories”, adding a new set of 25 book titles.

In case you are no longer pleased with some of the titles you’ve previously saved in your “My Shelf” section, you now have two ways of deleting them: either use the button “Delete” in the “Book details” section or simply long press the book title.

Suggestive titles are now being displayed on all the application’s screens, so you know exactly in what section you are. Other usability improvements are the possibility of increasing / decreasing the font size as well as the optimization of the display in both portrait and landscape view.

After successfully launching the first version of the application, we have implemented a significant set of improvements and took care of a few production bugs, following the general feed-back we have received.
Minding the application’s usability, we are now introducing the possibility of browsing straight through the phone’s folders and files in an user friendly manner; you can create a new folder directly from the Save menu and also see the name of the new saved file in the header.

Moreover, you will receive a warning every time you want to open or create a new file while there are unsaved modifications to the current document, asking you whether you want to save them or not, or simply if you want to cancel the action, in case you’ve changed your mind. Speaking of which, you’ll now find a “Cancel” button every time you press “Delete”, so you don’t have to worry about loosing information when you did not intend to do so.

  You can choose the reference point for the Starbux Stores search by using your current location, in which case the GPS data will be used, or by entering a preferred address.

  The closest stores are shown in a friendly list with their address and the distance from the search point. Clicking any of these will take you to a google map, showing you the location of the store.

  You can view your position and the position of the closest Starbux stores. If you know google maps, it’s pretty self-explanatory.

  This is the basic Notepad application, which can open/save/create any kind of text files. The main and only screen contains all the functionality you need.
